Kupang, Indonesia,14th of September 2011. Eight of our deacons were ordained to Priesthood together with other sixteen deacons by Papal nuncio to Indonesia ,Mgr. Antonio Guido Pillipazi.
Mgr. Petrus Turang ,the Arch Bishop of Kupang was the concelebrant on that occasion. Governor , Mayor and some other important Government officials too attended the function. Many Priests, Sisters, brothers and a large number of faithful graced the event by their presence. On the following day, 15th of September, the new priests celebrated their Thanks Giving Mass in Seminari Hati Maria, the Curia of the Delegation. It was an event marked with simplicity and deep spiritual significance for the Delegation.
Morogoro Tanzania, Saturday, October 1, 2011.
Five of our students received Diaconate Order at the Chapel of the theologate in Morogoro – Tanzania. Two of them are from Tanzania, two from India and one from Kenya. They were ordained deacons together with other 19 students belonging to different congregations by Most Rev. Telescuno Mkwande, the bishop of Morogoro . During his homily he reminded the candidates on the import of service to God and humanity, which constitutes the core of the diaconate ministry. After the ordination ceremony, there was reception of the ordained deacons as well as an agape meal with friends and relations in the seminary community.
Granada, Spain. The annual encounter of Iberian Claretians took place from 25th to 29th July, 2011 in the Clartetian house in Granada. Ten formators participated in the encounter representing the provinces of Betica (3), Catalunya (1), Euskal Herria (1), portugal (2), Santiago (2) and General prefecture of formation (1). The group treated the theme of “Discernment in formation” facilitated by Fr. Diego Molina SJ with both theoretical inputs and practical excercises.
