Adrian de Prado is Ordained Priest

Segovia, Spain. On June 10, the Congregation celebrated the priestly ordination of the Claretian Adrian de Prado Postigo, with the imposition of the hands of the Bishop of Mondoñedo Ferrol, Msgr. Luis Angel de las Heras Berzal. The event took place in the Church of the Missionaries, in the Claret School in Segovia, and a large number of brothers and sisters, as well as family and friends, attended the event. Adrian de Prado had been ordained a deacon eight months earlier in the chapel of the seminary of Colmenar Viejo.

In his thanksgiving speech he stressed: “With fear and trembling, but with faith, I join myself today and trust myself in his Word and pronounce it with all the depth that I am capable of. Surely I can not tell you anything better in my life. I only ask the Lord to help me to live out daily what I now express with my voice: here you have my body for all of you. It belongs to God and, to Him, to all of you.”

He celebrated his First Mass the day after his ordination, Sunday, June 11 at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fuencisla, at twelve-thirty.
