Bengaluru, India. Once again the Feast of the Visitation of the B. V. M, 31 May, marked the day of Professions and Renewal of Profession in the Province of Bangalore. In the morning, at Claret Bhavan, Carmelaram, nine (eight for Bangalore province and one for Northeast Delegation) of our novices made their First Profession during the Solemn Eucharist presided at by Rev. Fr. Jacob Arakkal John, Provincial Superior of Bangalore.

In the evening, at Claretian Seminary, Malleswaram, 15 of our students renewed their temporary profession; and two of our students, John Bosco and Martin Joseph, made their Perpetual Profession.

For Both these celebrations, the family members of those professing, a good number of Claretian conferrers, neighbours and well-wishers were present. Indeed, in today’s rapidly secularizing world, these celebrations bore witness to the Call to Consecrated Life in the Church.
