Perpetual Profession of Pierre Raoul Cédrick Bekolo and Hans Boussougou Oko

Nkolbisson, Cameroon. On June 30, 2017, in the parish of Saint Charles Lwanga of Nkolbisson, two confreres, Pierre Raoul Cédrick Bekolo and Hans Boussougou Oko, made their perpetual vows in the hands of Fr. Michel Archange Tigui, Major Superior of Cameroon. Among the numerous confreres who were present, was Fr. Robert Avula Membo, representative of Fr. Gonzalo Fernandez, Delegate Superior of the general mission of Gabon. The Eucharistic celebration began at three o’clock and lasted for two hours. During the homily, Father Destin Alolo, urged the elect to take prayer as a weapon of battle against the world in loss of values. The perpetual profession is not the end of everything, but a beginning of a long journey with Christ. Nor is it a social promotion, but an invitation to be closer to Christ, to his service and to the service of mankind.
